An appreciable Quality of Work Life is known to be the cornerstone for the success of any organization. Here a sincere attempt is made to know the perception of employees about their Quality of Work Life who are working in different manufacturing industries. The procedure involves the establishment of the relationship between the demographic variables and the dimensions or constructs of the Quality of Work Life. The dimension selected for this study is working conditions and the demographic variable chosen is Experience & Designation. In order to show the strength of association between these variables, bivariate analyses and descriptive analyses is carried out. The results of the study show that the Working conditions of the employees are appreciable.

RADIUS Authentication on Unifi Enterprise System Controller using ZeroHandoff Roaming in Wireless Communication

Authors: Dr. Shish Ahmad

The demand for setting up a wireless LAN internet connectivity is almost mandatory for every commercial building, home, company, and educational institutions. With the growing number and height of buildings as well as the number of users, it has become essential to apply new techniques to provide better wireless network services, especially for security issue with many applications used by an attacker that can decrypt the traditional password to use network resources, that’s lead to poor network performance for providing network services for people authorized to use it. All of that is almost a very challenge issue when applying outdated techniques. In this research a wireless network has been created considering a large number of users in a multi-floor building using a new control system which can solve the problems by setting up RADIUS authentication via that wireless network with a webpage that automatically appears to the user immediately after connecting to the wireless radio signal and automatically gaining an IP address, lead user directly to the temporary page asking him for authentication, if the user has the right username and password or even sometimes a code called Voucher, he will get a package assigned to his priority. This technology will eliminate the vulnerability on the wireless connection and the unauthorized user will be discarded from the router, in addition of that authorized users will get authenticated to make better use of network resources.

Web-Based Land Registration Management System: Iraq/Duhok Case Study

Authors: Ms. Mansi Mehta

In this era, technology is playing a central role in many areas of human life, but the classical hardcopy-based approaches are still being used for land registration. The Internet-based methods provide excellent facilities for overcoming the drawbacks of handwritten-based style and communication among different government sectors. Nowadays, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is used to build professional electronic systems as a big step towards the electronic government (E-government) system. One of the most critical sections of the E-government is the E-Land-Registration (ELR). Duhok Land Directorate, together with its subdirectorates, works on a considerable amount of data to process. These directorates suffer from classical hardcopybased approaches, so building an ELR system will reduce time consumption and paper waste. The improvement of the land registration system will also allow integration with the Egovernment system. The progress of the land registration will enable communication between the land registration staff on one side and the administration and financial directorates on the other. In this thesis, an efficient ELR system for Duhok land registration is proposed. The services of the database management system cover the Employee Registration Module, Estates Registration Module, Operation Type Module, Estate Owners Module, Estate Status Module, View Information Module, and Login Employee Module. HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and Bootstrap tools were used for the design and implementation stages of the proposed ELR.

Consumption of fresh vegetables is one of the major routes of transmission of intestinal parasites of public health importance which have been incriminated as one of the main causes of foodborne outbreaks. In an attempt to bridge the knowledge gap associated with the pre-harvest and post-harvest parasitic contamination of vegetables in Nigeria, this study was conducted to assess geohelminths and protozoa contamination of vegetables in farms and markets in Ibadan, southwest, Nigeria. Vegetable samples were screened using simple floatation and sedimentation methods for identification of geohelminths ova, larva and protozoan oocysts. Of the total 200 vegetable samples collected, 70 (35%) were positive for geohelminth and protozoan parasites. The results show that the highest level of contamination was detected in African spinach 20 (35.1%), followed by White jute 15 (45.5%), Waterleaf 14 (51.9%), Quill grass 12 (24.5%), Garden eggplant leaf 4 (57.1%), while the least number of contaminated samples was detected in Pepper 1 (%). However, Fluted pumpkin leaves and English Spinach had no parasitic contamination. Waterleaf 3 (11.11%), African spinach 2 (3.5%), Quill grass 2 (4.1%) and White jute 2 (6.1%) had mixed helminths and protozoa infections. Of the total intestinal parasites observed, Strongyloides stercoralis had the highest prevalence 67 (33.5%), followed by Entamoeba coli 27 (13.5%), Ascaris spp. 24 (12%), Trichuris spp. 10 (5%), Filiariform 9 (4.5%), Dicrocoelium spp. 9 (4.5%), Oesophagostomum dentatum 7 (3.5%), Fasciola spp 7 (3.5%), Entamoeba histolytica 6 (3%) while Eimeria spp 6 (3%) had the lowest prevalence. Most farmers 44 (80%) used stream and waste water as their source of irrigation while 11 (20%) of the farmers used well and stream. The relatively high rate of parasitic contamination observed in this study might be due to poor hygienic and sanitary handling of vegetables, poor transportation, packaging of vegetables and contaminated water used for irrigation and washing of vegetables in farms and markets. There is therefore a need for education of farmers and market women on proper handling and hygienic management of vegetables to safe guard the health of the populace.

This paper presents the design, implementation, and evaluation of a compact Java-based order processing module that demonstrates basic e-commerce concepts: product catalog, users, orders, order items, revenue computation, and a simple graphical visualization of order totals. The implementation follows an object-oriented approach, with clear separation of concerns between data models, business logic, and presentation. The paper includes a code walkthrough, sample dataset, runtime behavior, visualization details, and discussion of limitations and future improvements. The module can serve as an educational reference or a small component within a larger e-commerce system.

Expansion of Railways and Its Impact in the Princely State Mayurbhanj, Odisha: A Historical Review

Authors: Ghanashyam Giri
Page No: 34-43
View Abstract
The paper tries to find out the political agenda of Britishers in the context of the expansion of railways in Orissa generally and the princely state of Mayurbhanj particularly. However, it critically looks into the extension of the railway and its impact on people, forests, trade and commerce, and so on. In connection to this, special attention is given to the role of timber contractors or agencies that fulfill the colonial government’s demand for railway sleepers in the princely state of Mayurbhanj. As Mayurbhanj is the largest tribal belt in Orissa and rich in forest as well as natural resources, an attempt is made to critically analyse the relation between the raja and the Britisher and their approaches towards forest ecology. Here, the author used several secondary sources in the form of vernacular newspapers, reports, books, and articles with the qualitative and historical research approach and draw the conclusion.
